7thingsmedia named Best Affiliate Agency

Two-year-old performance-marketing agency 7thingsmedia leapfrogged its established competitors to take the prestigious Best Affiliate Agency award at this week's A4U awards.

The awards ceremony – attended by 700 advertisers, agencies, publishers, and networks and hosted by comedian Rufus Hound – is the pinnacle event of the £5bn affiliate and performance marketing industry rewarding standout individuals and businesses, entrepreneurialism and teamwork.

Described as “a breath of fresh air in the agency space” by one judge, the London-based agency – that boasts Agent Provocateur, Ted Baker, Liberty and USC amongst an impressive client roster – bested competition from traditional agencies such as Arena Quantum and Bigmouthmedia.

Entrant numbers were double that of last year and came before a highly respected judging panel of industry experts drawn from Yahoo! BSKYB and New Media Age.

The fledgling agency was rewarded for its “innovative, entrepreneurial approach” which saw them record a notable increase in revenue, enjoy impressive client wins and rapid expansion into the US market.

Founder and Managing Director Chris Bishop said: “Picking up an award in our second full year of trading is a great win for the team and solidifies the fact that we're competing with the established industry players.

“One key feature of 7thingsmedia's success in the past year is our continual investment in our team, fostering an internal culture of ambition and dedication. As an agency, we will continue to build on these solid foundations and the momentum of the award will ensure we maintain our impressive streak of accomplishments.”
