Wild Beasts - Brave Bulging Buoyant Clairvoyants - (2008) 4:02 (UK)

Brave Bulging Buoyant Clairvoyants, released on October 13th, is the second single to be taken from Wild Beasts’ debut album Limbo, Panto (available now). I think I'm love with that neat lilting thing the singer does.

This music promo Directed by OneInThree for Wild Beasts is a mesmerising & hypnotic tour de force. It pioneers an amazing mind bending visual technique called the 'Droste Effect' which is based on an uncompleted lithograph that Escher made in 1956. The maths behind the lithograph was so complicated that Escher was unable to finish the centre of the lithograph and so left it blank. OneInThree developed Josh Sommers' technique so that it could be applied to moving images and apart from a grade & online at The Mill did all the VFX themselves.

see also this article on how this was created.

That was awesome. At first I thought I was going to get seasick, but instead I got addicted. I've watched this five times so far. That song isn't bad either.

I dig it too - rated it five hearts.

Yes, yes and yes!

This should get 5 hearts across the board for the song alone.

It's been quite popular all over the web since it was released so I have no doubt they will sell a lot of albums this fall.
