New York City-based editorial/post-production company Uppercut has strengthened its leadership with the addition of Stefanie Bassett as Executive Producer. You may know her from previous work like "Stare" breast cancer PSA, but she's also collaborated with agencies including McCann, Mother, mcgarrybowen, 360i and Hill Holliday, brands such as Chevron, Cadillac and Maybelline.
In her new role as EP at Uppercut, Bassett hopes to leverage her experience and bring focused energy to a quickly evolving company. “I hope to build the next stage of Uppercut with positivity and strong leadership,” she explains. “I truly believe that what you put out there every day, you will receive in the end. Uppercut is an incredibly tight family, very dedicated to what they do and devoted to the directors, agency creatives and clients they work with. It’s a forward-thinking company, completely open to the evolution and change that is unfolding around us each and every day. The minute you walk into the office you feel it- I am just happy to be another piece of this awesome puzzle.”
Uppercut Owner/Editor Micah Scarpelli echoes Bassett’s sentiment, adding, “We are very proud to welcome Stefanie to our team. Her strong background in post production will help lead Uppercut as we continue our expansion. Her energy, positivity and ability to build connections and plan for growth will be key to the future of our company. She is honestly the perfect fit!”
