Updated Spoiler Alert: Super Bowl XLVII commercial lineup for next Sunday

We’re one week away from The Big Game. We’ve got the teams who will be playing (49ers vs. Ravens, for those of you who don’t follow). And, we’ve got a lot more info on the spots that will be airing and when. This year is no different than any other with a long list of celebrities such as The Rock, PSY, The Flaming Lips, babies, supermodels, and more. So let's get on to the most complete spoiler alert on the web.

PREGAME:
Hyundai will air “Epic Play Date”, a :60 just prior to kickoff. The ad shows a family outing of skateboarding kids, dads doing donuts in the mud, family being chased by security guards, a biker gang and an ostrich. An original song by The Flaming Lips is the soundtrack and the band is featured throughout the ad.

Hyundai - Genesis :30 called “Excited” shows the car going around a racetrack with sportscaster Gus Johnson.

Hyundai - Santa Fe :30 called “Don’t Tell” which has been running shows a dad doing things with the kids but telling them “Don’t tell Mom”, and in the end, she’s doing the same thing.

FIRST HALF:
OREO Cookies (Mondelez International) with a :30 that will mark it's first appearance in the Super Bowl ad fiesta. The spot focuses on Oreo devotees prefernce for the cookie or the cream filling. The ad will direct fans to Instagram to continue the debate. Earlier in October, Mondelez International is pitting longtime ad agency of record, DraftFCB against Wieden + Kennedy to duke it out for the honor of developing the ad which will air.

FIRST QUARTER:
Audi of America has a :60 spot titled “Prom” for the S6, where the car changes an awkward teen into a confident guy with a black eye. Audi has asked fans to pick an ending (similar to Coke’s ad campaign), with voting ending last Friday.

Best Buy is back, this time with a :30 spot featuring Amy Poehler. The reason for choosing Poehler? "Because of the complexity of technology today, folks have lots of questions," said Scott Durchslag, president of online and global e-commerce. "Amy is this comedic everyperson who can make things simple. And Best Buy is trying to accomplish the same thing - making technology simple."

Coca-Cola will air one 60-second spot titled “Mirage” during the first quarter. They’ve released part of the Super Bowl spot and are asking folks to vote on the ending at cokechase.com to see if the showgirls, cowboys or badlanders get the Coke in the end in a spot that will air at the end of the game. Each group also has their own hastags as well, which one assumes will be taken into account on the voting as well. This follows in the heels of last year’s campaign that showed different ads based on who was winning in the game.

M&Ms (Mars) will have a :30 with more information to come. Their Facebook page shows the different colored candies sans candy coated shell. Perhaps that’s the follow up to last year’s spot.

GoDaddy.com one of two 30-second spots titled “YourBigIdea.Co” for their .co domains. Either this or their other :30, “Perfect Date” featuring Danica Patrick and supermodel Bar Refaeli, will air in the second spot in the second commercial break of the game.

Hyundai - Sante Fe will air a :30 called “Team” where he rounds up a posse after being kicked off a football field by neighborhood kids.

Toyota - 2014 RAV4 with a :60 starring Kaley Cuoco of “The Big Bang Theory”. It will also have a photo of one fan selected from submissions through Twitter and Instagram.

SECOND QUARTER:
Sketchers with a :30 will bring back Mr. Quiggly to promote the GOrun Performace footwear. Spot will air just before the two minute warning before halftime.

Hyundai - Sonata Turbo will air a :30 called “Stuck” where the idea showcases how the car can solve the problem of being stuck behind a vehicle carrying ominous cargo.

Milk Processor Education Program: this :30 will be the first for the company. The ad uses Dwayne Johnson, a.k.a. The Rock, for a look at how far a father will go to get milk for his kid’s breakfast. The ad is just part of a larger campaign that will be running sponsored by the National Football League and the National Dairy Council.

SECOND HALF:
Ford Lincoln will air a :60 titled “Steer The Script”, which started earlier as a Twitter campaign asking fans to tweet their thoughts on the brand using #SteerTheScript, which Jimmy Falon will then turn into the commercial. The brand also has Emmitt Smith onboard as brand ambassador, so we might also see him in the spot, too. This is the brand’s first Super Bowl spot.

Teaser for “Steer The Script”

THIRD QUARTER:
Century 21 will debut a 30-second spot early in this quarter. Additionally, multiple CENTURY 21 pregame commercials and a one hour pregame show sponsorship will tell story of Century 21 agents.

Gildan Activewear will have a :30 ad called “Getaway” for their Gildan line focusing on how far a man will go after he realizes he leaves behind his favorite shirt (Gildan of course) after a one-night stand.

Hyundai/Kia Sorento has a :30 featuring the redesigned 2014 Forte. Other details are still unknown.

E*Trade has a :30 with the talking baby again.

Mio (Kraft Foods) will air a :30 featuring Tracy Morgan who runs down the things that have changed, including sports drinks, to introduce the Mio Fit.

Tide is back with a :30 as official laundry detergent of the NFL. The spot will feature both teams in the game.

FOURTH QUARTER:
Hyundai/Kia Sorento has a :60 titled “Space Babies” which reveals the existence of a faraway planet known as “Babylandia” and follows infant boys, girls, dogs, pandas, etc on their journey to Earth to join new families. Ad will be released on Feb 1st.

Mercedes Benz will air a :60 spot premiering a new CLA featuring Kate Upton and Usher with a "tongue-in-cheek depiction of how far a person might — or might not — go to get their heart’s desire" (read: Upton). Music in the teasers features The Rolling Stone’s “Sympathy for the Devil”, which most likely will also appear in the actual ad.

SodaStream has a :30 that will be airing. The ad will “reveal a fresh take on its provocative new campaign”, “The SodaStream Effect” which was banned in the UK but has been airing in the USA for the past couple months. The Big Game ad was supposed to be a revised version made specifically for the game, “based on the same creative centerpiece.”
On Friday @Bogusky tweeted this, which means their work has been left on the cutting room floor after some debate as to if it could air without “disparaging other soda companies.”

It is also another brand new to the Big Game.

POST GAME:
Coca-Cola will air a 30-second spot with the results of voting on the ending of “Mirage” airing in the first quarter of the Super Bowl. Folks to vote on the ending at cokechase.com to see if the showgirls, cowboys or badlanders get the Coke in the end in a spot that will air at the end of the game. Toyota with a :45 cut of the spot “Let’s go places” brand campaign.

Toyota - Tundra with a :30 cut of the spot where the truck tows the Endeavor Space Shuttle in Los Angeles.

UNKNOWN AIR TIME:
Anheuser-Busch InBev will have a handful of spots, totalling 4 ½ minutes, as usual spread out among their different beverage lines. Quarters and lengths to come soon.
+ Becks Sapphire will run a :30 featuring an animated black goldfish singing a version of “No Diggity” by Australian musician Chet Faker. The ad is to be released on Friday, Feb 1st by the brand prior to the game.

+ Budweiser will share a sneak peek of the :60 spot on Wednesday, Jan 30th featuring the Clydesdales. The ad will share the story of a young Clydesdale and his trainer

+ Bud Light will get 2 spots tying into the “Superstitious” campaign.

+ Budweiser Black Crown will also get 2 of the prime time ad slots. Teasers for these ads aired during the NFC and AFC Championship games last week.

Samsung will have a 2-minute spot titled“The Big Pitch” starring Seth Rogan, Paul Rudd and Bob Odenkirk. Directed by Jon Favreau. An extended cut version with never-been-seen footage will be released later this week. Consumers will have the opportunity to weigh in on their favorite moments and win prizes using the hashtag #TheNextBigThing. The ad features the Galaxy family of products including the Galaxy Note™ II, Galaxy S® III and Galaxy Note™ 10.1.

Unliever’s Axe Apollo will air a 30-second spot, titled “Lifeguard” that will also promote the brand’s Axe Apollo Sweepstakes where it is “recruiting a few brave civilians for the opportunity of a lifetime--a trip to space.” They have even scored Buzz Aldrin to help promote it as well. This is the brand’s first appearance in the Big Game.

Volkswagen is running a :60 spot "Get Happy" that will tie back to its “Why VW” campaign featuring “simple, human stories” told by owners. Enter Dave and his newfound sunny disposition, confusing the entire office as it manifests itself in a curious way. Yeah he be jamaican mon. It's apparently a side effect from driving poppy red VW beetles, mon. Tom Kuntz, known for the Old Spice ads, directed.

Watch the pre-game “Sunny Side” spot by Deutsch featuring Jimmy Cliff covering the Partridge Family’s “Come On Get Happy”.

PepsiCo.'s Pepsi will have two :30 spots. Air times TBD.
+ One ad will promote the brand and halftime show, both which feature Beyonce. (See shot of her on set here. The ad will incorporate photos of customers doing specific movements, such as shouting, head bopping and feet tapping. During the next week, folks will find out if they’ve made it into the ad.

+ Pepsi Next will also get the limelight in another :30 ad TBWA/Chiat/Day. At the end of the spot, viewers will be directed to a site to receive a coupon for a free 2-liter bottle. They plan on giving away a million coupons.

PepsiCo.'s Frito-Lay/Doritos will be back with two "Crash the Superbowl" spots. Air times TBD.
Finalists include: “Road Chip”, “FETCH”, “Fashionista Daddy”, “Goat 4 Sale” and “Express Checkout”.

Cars.com with one 30-second ad possible kicking off a new campaign. Air time TBD.

Chrysler Still no new news for Chrysler. Let's see who they pull out this time for their "Imported from Detroit" campaign. Last year's ad featured Clint Eastwood and the year before that they used Eminem (and are still using his music in the ads running now).

Chrysler FIAT Chrysler marketing chief says there are five new Fiat ads that could be used. All of the :30 spots were previewed at the Los Angeles Auto Show and feature different “everyday” situations. Air time TBD.

RIM (Research In Motion) will run a :30 for the new BlackBerry 10 smartphone.

Wonderful Pistachios has a :30 with “Gangnam Style” rapper PSY. Guaranteed the copy will be “Psy does it “Gangnam Style.”” ;) Digital extension features fans uploading a picture of how they “Get Crackin’ Gangnam Style” for a chance to win a LEASE for a year of a 2013 Mercedes Benz SLK 250. A lease? C’mon. Buy someone the winner the car. Really.

LOCAL PLAYS:
MillerCoors is purchasing time on local TV stations in the Great Lakes and Southeast for a 15-second ad for Redd’s Apple Ale.
