RIDEOUT WAKES UP SAN FRANCISCO WITH TROPICANA SPOT
Working in partnership with RSA Films London, Crossroads Director Stuart Rideout harnesses the unique aesthetic of San Francisco to create a memorable visual story for Tropicana via DDB London. DJ is a beautiful montage of a West Coast weekday morning, following the journey of a morning talk-show deejay as he navigates the city's soaring bridges, meandering hilly streets, and towering skyscrapers on his daily journey to work. As an invigorated troupe of commuters sweeps through the diners, streetcars, and parks of the iconic city - a golden Tropicana invariably by their side - the deejay narrates the 7:00 a.m. sunshine, promising that "today is going to be a beautiful day."

Tropicana's been showing "breakfast in New York" commercials for a few years now in the UK. This makes a nice change of pace (with a seasonal summery feel) while still sticking closely to the American theme.
