Sean Connery just passed, which is terribly sad for anyone who knew him personally and for millions of fans around the world. Me included.
Now, not everyone was a fan of Sean. As soon as his passing at the age of 90 was announced, social media was serving up interviews where he was talking to Barbara Walters not regretting his comments about "slapping a woman with an open hand if necessary", so in his demise, he wasn't remembered as an actor in iconic movies, but as a wife-beater.
I will still remember him as a ridiculously handsome milkman from Scotland who could wear a suit like nobody's business, and a competitor of the 1953 Mr. Universe. Sean actually represented a specific style of man, way back when.
This half-page ad in one of the most popular newspapers in Brazil decided to do a tribute to the one and only Sean Connery, the #1 James Bond, and a great actor.
