Thumbvertising - the latest in human advertising media

Thumbvertising is here. Yes that's right. StrawberryFrog has recruited teams of volunteers to tour public spaces displaying logos tattooed in henna onto their thumb pads and mini ad banners suspended between their thumbs.

StrawberryFrog creative director, Mark Chalmers, believes brands have much to gain from hitching a ride on the thumbs up sign.

"Thumbvertising raises a smile, is engaging, memorable and has a feelgood factor that's lacking in most modern advertising," he said.

Um, OK, if you say so. The first campaign will be for Douwe Egberts' coffee drink Café Switch, launching today in London, Bristol, Birmingham, Manchester and Newcastle

Adland® is supported by your donations alone. You can help us out by buying us a Ko-Fi coffee.

This reminds me of a friends "ultimate pun" tattoos. On each thumb he has small black nails inked.
