Ted Williams signs as the new VO of Kraft Macaroni & Cheese

Since we last saw Ted Williams panhandling and doing an impromptu worldwide audition, he has gotten a haircut, a telephone, a plane ticket to New York, job offers, countless articles written about him, and airtime on the Today show.

And to top it all off, AdAge reports that he's signed to be the new voice of Kraft Macaroni & Cheese!

"Like many others, Kraft Macaroni & Cheese and our ad agency was moved by Ted Williams' story," Kraft spokeswoman Lynne Galia said in an email. "His amazing voice is perfectly suited to our campaign. We were in the middle of making our TV spots and in a unique position to help Ted use his great voice to gain employment."

Hard knocks bring on a rough life and Ted does have a checkered past, which has its own smoking gun page. But a man that lived in a tent just a few days ago has humble goals - he just want a job and a place to call home, a kitchen where he can cook. Maybe Kraft Macaroni & Cheese, even.
