SSU - "Never Forget To Vote" starring Rainer Höss - (2014) :30 (Sweden)

"Never Forget. To Vote. - A Nazi-free Europe, feat. Rainer Höss" is the title of this ambitious election film from SSU, the "Swedish Socialdemocrat federation", a youth group under the Social Democrats political party. Rainer Höss is none other than the grandchild of Rudolf Höss, the commandant of Auschwitz who was later executed for his crimes after being sentenced at the International Military Tribunal at Nuremberg. Rainer Höss (twitter) has written a book called 'The Legacy of the Commandant' which is due to be released in English soon and so is "hot" in this moment as well. The cinematography is nice, the VO is Rainer Höss himself, and the point being made is "go vote" because or else the right wing parties might win. In other words, the usual point from the social democrat party, just with the upped ante of using a nazi commandant's grandson this time. This ad is paid for by the SSU youth federation and not the main Social Democrat party.
