You're not you when you're hungry. Sometimes you're Joan Collins. Sometimes you're Mr. Bean. BETTER GET SOME NUTS.
Following on from the runaway favourite that was Joan Collins in a men's changing room uttering the immortal line 'Button it, shrimpy!' - Snickers gave themselves a tough act to beat. So where do you go from here? Into the realms of pure fantasy, from an ordinary changing room to what appears to be a scene from 'Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon'.
This ad is brilliant, mixing exactly the same premise of ‘eat a Snickers, return to yourself’ - with new characters and an utterly surreal setting. So if you've ever wondered what a Kung Fu warrior looks like when he's hungry, the answer is that beloved and perennial English joke, Mr. Bean. The juxtaposition is sublime. Hats off to AMV BBDO on this one.
N.B The linguists of the internet have already pointed out that our presumably Japanese characters are speaking Mandarin Chinese. I don't know whether to file this one up as a whoopsie, or as a seriously who gives a shit?
UPDATE (06/10/14)
I'm officially in need of a harsh rebuke. 'Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon' was set in the Qing dynasty of imperial China, therefore they didn't get the language wrong. Moral of the story, do not trust people on Reddit. Or, like, maybe eat a Snickers first.

They are Chinese Warriors, they do wushu! So they are supposed to speak Mandarin!
The scene is based on "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon"
