Los Angeles ad and design agency 72andSunny has brought Sam Baerwald on board as Head of Film Production.
He previously spent 10 years at TBWAChiatDay, Los Angeles, where he began as an office coordinator and moved his way up to Producer. During his tenure there, he produced work for Sony PlayStation, ABC, Taco Bell, Nissan, Apple, and Nike, and worked with directors including Errol Morris, Lance Acord, and Rocky Morton, among many others. "Sam's a perfect fit here," said Glenn Cole, Co-founder and Creative Director. "It took us a long time to find someone who had both the production experience and the creative chops to fit in. Sam has already had a huge impact on the studio by staffing up and managing the department as well as making the work he touches better. It doesn’t hurt that he’s a lifelong skateboarder either." Since joining 72andSunny, Sam has produced a four-spot TV campaign for G4’s coverage of the E3 trade show, and is currently producing projects for Xbox and Avia, both slated for release later this year.
We love Sam
