This campaign is from the Québec Government's health and social services department. Ministère de la Santé et des Services Sociaux du Québec.
Classical poses normally adorning tombstones are replaced by statues depicting potentially high-risk behavior instead, such as unprotected sex, and sharing a syringe.
The epitaph on the tombstones reads; AIDS IS STILL AROUND 1981 - with the end date missing. To remind people that they shouldn't engage in high-risk behaviors.
