ONY, one of the most iconic US brands of the 1970’s and 1980’s, has appointed Cloudfactory to handle its European rebrand. The Amsterdam-based creative agency has been tasked with providing a refresh brand identity focusing on PONY’s historic values of youthful exuberance, originality and leadership.
PONY is one of American’s classic brands, providing a fresh lifestyle choice in a market cluttered with similarity. Cloudfactory has developed an innovative communication approach for PONY’s European business, reinforcing the spirit and strength of the brand’s iconic 40-year history. The strategic new positioning includes a re-design of PONY’s brand identity and development of a 360 campaign.
PONY’s new summer collection will be launched in Berlin in July, during the prestigious BREAD & BUTTER festival. Cloudfactory has created the specially designed 150sqm. An Experience.
The dual-purpose creative agency was founded by Jessica Kersten and Olivier Teepe to inject thoughtfulness and creative craftsmanship into the processes of product design and brand creation. Their previous brand and campaign development experience includes work for Philips, Unilever, IKEA and Levi’s.
