Let's face it, at this point we're all avoiding social media (except Instagram) lest some Red Maga Hat or Pussy Hat Debbie downer comes along to kill the buzz. (What is it with politics and hats?) Good news, at least for cat lvoers. Independent filmmaker Oscilloscope, (founded by Beastie Boy Adam Yauch) and Portland-based North are throwing a “Play and Adopt” event on Facebook Live. Think an interactive laser kitty cam that can controlled by viewers via an app on their smartphones and more. The best part? All of the cats are adoptable through The Pixie Project. There are even adoption specialists on hand if you want to ask any questions.
This event not only does good for cats, but it helps promote Oscilloscope Laboratories’ latest film Kedi, a documentary about the cats that roam the metropolis of Istanbul.
The Play and Adopt event takes place Today, Fab 10th, 2017, at 12-1PM PST. Now I know what I'll be doing over lunch.
