Thierry Halbroth has joined McCann's creative ranks. Thierry takes up a newly created role as Senior Creative Director, Cathay Pacific Central Team, Worldwide from his previous role as Director of Integrated Services, M&C Saatchi Greater China.
He joins Carol Lam, Executive Creative Director and Vince Viola, Managing Director, Cathay Pacific Central Team to manage integrated solutions through the line for all Cathay Pacific brands. These range from global branding efforts for Cathay Pacific, Marco Polo Club and Asia Miles covering relationship marketing and digital solutions.
Vince Viola says, "We always keep an eye open for the top talent available and as Cathay Pacific expands globally, we too need to expand. Cathay Pacific is one of the world’s best airlines and accordingly, we only want to attract the world’s best talent to work on their business. Of course many agencies are talking about integration but we're pleased to be actually moving forward with this vital discipline by integrating within the one central demand team rather than have a bunch of different companies working independently of each other".
Thierry has worked on of many international brands such as British Airways, Qantas, Dunhill, Mandarin Oriental, ZUJI, Anna Sui, B&Q and Hyperion Solutions.
His work has been consistently acknowledged, both for creativity and efficiency, and Thierry has obtained numerous awards, including a Silver at Media’s Asian Brand Marketing Effectiveness and a selection of others, including a craft award for most innovative at the HK4A’s IDA (Interactive & Direct Awards) in 2004. His creative expertise is also called upon at award shows and Thierry has been invited to judge on various panels including the Singapore Creative Circle Awards, the CASBAA’s Advertising Awards, Media’s Asian Advertising Awards and the global Stevie Awards. Thierry is also a regular contributor to titles such as Media Magazine.
Thierry was one of the founding partners of Mercatela’s creative team in 2000. His online expertise has been invaluable to the likes of the ADMA (Asian Digital Marketing Association) where he heads the Marketing Consulting Group Committee and the HK4A where he sits on the Interactive and Direct Marketing Committee.
