Industry Veteran, Paul Lin, to Lead Office.
Creative hot shop, Battery, announces its expanded footprint in China. This follows a string of new business opportunities for the agency helping major gaming brands launch and grow in western markets. Industry veteran, Paul Lin, will lead Battery’s office as Managing Director of Battery, Shanghai.
“This is a natural expansion for our agency,” said Anson Sowby, CEO, Battery. “We've been working with top Chinese mobile game publishers for a few years and could see the growing demand for our services in their home markets. It’s exciting to announce our presence in one of the most dynamic cities in the world.”
Battery’s Shanghai outpost will tap into the growing trend of Chinese companies looking to go outbound into global markets. China is leading growth across the world, and Chinese companies are increasingly looking to bring their innovation to the rest of the world. The setup in Shanghai will help clients launch their products to western audiences, ensuring the brand’s original ethos remains intact while creating new connections that are culturally relevant to European and U.S. markets.
