George Jensen - Marc Newson Core - (2015) 3:21 (Denmark)

Georg Jensen’s collaboration with industrial designer Marc Newson brings us a tea set, and philosophical thoughts about tea drinking. Set against the beautiful black and white footage shot by Olivia Frølich and Viva Siim showing nature, seasons, and the expert crafting of a little cream pot, we're lulled into the story and thought process behind the design. It's a long film, long enough to have a cup of tea while watching, but the time taken is part of the point.

If you're not quite ready to buy a Georg Jensen Tea pot model 1017, perhaps you can settle for a lovely coffee table book showing the brilliant George Jensen designs of the past, Georg Jensen: Reflections.
