In 2013, Chrissy Amphlett, lead singer of Divinyls, died of breast cancer. Before she died, her wish was that her most memorable hit "I touch myself," would become an anthem for breast cancer awareness, and to encourage women to self-examine their breasts.
#itouchmyselfproject hopes that iconic 90's song will do more to create awareness about this issue.
Working with Australia's Cancer Council NSW, Amphlett's widower made that happen. This extremely touching tribute is perfect in execution and delivery.
Olivia Newton-John, Connie Mitchell, Sarah Blasko, Megan Washington, Deborah Conway, Kate Cerebrano, Katie Noonan, Little Pattie, Sarah McLeod and Suze DeMarchi all contributed a cappella parts to this moving tribute to Amphlett's life and music.
