Oh boy, Claymore, our real adland hero, has collected all the shiny mp3's from the Bud Light radio campaigns:
"Instead of the archive's previous 21, we now have 27 Bud Light Real American Hero radio ads. But it doesn't stop there. In addition, we now have 13 Bud Light Real Men of Genius radio ads, 2 Budweiser UK Real American Hero radio ads that supposedly never aired in the US (if I remember correctly, Brits don't much care for light beer, so Anheuser Busch obliged and customized),
and the coup de grace... 3 Bud Light radio ads starring Charlton Heston that aired prior to the Real American Heroes campaign."
Below are the names for the ads in the playlist... Enjoy! *yeay!*

PermalinkSorry, these radio ads used to be embedded with ODEO.com's flash player, and for some reason I hadn't changed to to our player. And this is why I will never use third party anything anymore, Adland outlives every other service out there

PermalinkNot sure if that fixing includes the files below the "super adgrunts click continue" but I don't see a "continue" link and I just subscribed.
If it is, sorry for the repetition
thanks

PermalinkThe actual files are available in direct links above all of the file names, if the player isn't working (at times it doesn't which I why I made direct links available).

PermalinkThe radio ads featuring Charlton Heston's serious intonations were constant companions as I moved about on my fishing trips in '95. The local AM station out of Bloomsburg, PA, WHLM, had the distinction of being the only one to be able to blast their signal into the hollows where I fished that spring and summer. As an adjunct, I first heard the news of Christopher Reeve having fallen off of a horse on WHLM one sunny afternoon in late May of that same year. There was no indication as to the severity of Chris' injuries at the time; yet now we know how tragic that fall was.

PermalinkI'm glad they meant that much to you. Advertising-- good advertising-- is as good as any culture. It stays with you. I know exactly where you're talking about, too, on the Susquehanna. It's funny how advertising, like any cultural movement can stay with you. it doesn't matter how big or how small. the frame of reference ingrains it so it's a permanent fixture on our psyche.

PermalinkI can only get the top one to play. I would really love to play the Charlton Heston ones to play. Am I missing an obvious play button?
