Bris Soap - Bibi Andersson & Ingmar Bergman "Prinsessan och svinaherden" (1953) :90 (Sweden)

Some sites will erroneously call this Bibi Andersson's screen debut. They are wrong. Her screen debut was in a short called Barnens egen journal, which aired before the movie Tant Grön, tant Brun och tant Gredelin in 1947.
She also appeared as an extra in some clips.

Ingmar Bergman directed Bibi Andersson in this ad that spoofs the story from "The Swineherd" by Hans Christian Andersen. But instead of a prince who disguises himself as a swineherd, this is a swineherd who is promoted to a prince because he knows about the magic of soap. The soap, the king's chamberlain explains to the king, washes away odour by washing away bacteria before it meets the skin and oxygen which causes odour. Due to the people in the ad, and the director who did this entire campaign, this is somewhat of a cult classic in Sweden.

Director: Ingmar Bergman

Principal talent: Bibi Andersson
