Situation: Meeting with the Marketing Manager of our supermarket client.
Task: Ads for the grand opening of a new supermarket.
The USP for the supermarket was, that they had special substores: A baker, a deli, a cheese stall, a fish stall, a butcher etc.
Supermarket Marketing Manager Guy had one comment about the copy: "Could we delete the word 'cheese', it has such negative connotations!"
I fail to see how the Opium ad can be in violation of any of things listed in PayPal's user agreement, section 11.
Genitals showing? Nope.
Full frontal nudity? Nah.
etc. etc. etc.
But maybe they're just wankers that can't admit when they're wrong. Seems likely.

That's just plain insane. This is a professionel advertising site. It's not a pr0n site. If it is, I demand to see the pictures I paid for! :-)
Seriously: Paypal IS still an internet company, aren't they? Or have they officially moved to demi-god status with the right to issue unquestionable morale judgments?

If this comes out of an advertising agency, the people behind it should be put down. For their sake and for ours. It should raise the average IQ on planet Earth by a few points.
And if this were the US, the pun alone should warrant a law suit and a damage claim for pain suffered.
